Ingredients

  • 1.25 cups - water
  • 1/2 tsp - tea leaves
  • 1/2 inch - ginger
  • 1 - cardamom
  • 1/2 tsp - cardamom powder
  • 2 tsp - sugar
  • 1/4" piece - cinnamon stick
  • 2 tbsp - condensed milk (unsweetened)
  • 3 - dried rose petals/ 2-3 drops rose water.

How to Make Masala Chai

  • Boil water and add all ingredients except condensed milk, and simmer for 2 mins.
  • In the cup, pour out the tea and then add milk little by little till you get the right colour.
