Ingredients

  • 1 cup - rawa
  • 3 tbsp -ghee
  • 1/2 cup -cashew nuts, chopped
  • a few- curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp -soda bicarb
  • salt
  • 2 tbsp- coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup- grated coconut
  • 1 cup -curd, beaten
  • 1/2 cup -boiled corn
  • 1/2 cup -capsicum, chopped
  • oil

How to Make Masala Corn Rawa Idli

  • Add the ghee and cashew nuts into a casserole and saute in a microwave on high for 3 mins.
  • Add the green chillies and curry leaves and microwave on high for one minute.
  • Add the rawa and mix well.
  • Sautee on high for one minute.
  • Let it stand for 5 mins.
  • Remove from the oven and allow the mixture to cool.
  • Mix in the soda bicarb and salt.
  • When you are ready to make idlis, add coriander leaves, coconut, curd and water.
  • Mix well and set aside for 8 to 10 mins to soak.
  • Add 2 tbsp of the mixture into a small greased glass bowl or a white plastic bowl.
  • Sprinkle corn and capsicum pieces.
  • Microwave on high for 1 min.
  • Let it stand for 2 mins.
  • Invert the bowl on the plate to remove the idli.
  • One idli takes one minute to cook.
