Ingredients

  • 4 cups - Rice
  • 2 tbsp - Oil
  • Seasoning:
  • Mustard seeds
  • Cumin seeds
  • Split pigeon peas
  • Split black gram
  • 2 medium - Onions
  • 5 - Chillies
  • little - Mint
  • Coriander paste
  • Curry leaves
  • Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 tbsp - Turmeric
  • 1 tsp - Curry powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 big size - Tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp - Masala

How to Make Masala Rice

  • Boil rice, and keep aside.
  • Heat oil. Add seasoning and curry leaves.
  • Add onions. Fry till brown. Then add chillies, tomatoes, mint, coriander paste, ginger-garlic paste and turmeric, curry powder and salt.
  • Heat for 5-8 min and mix with rice.
