Ingredients

  • 4 - capsicum
  • 2 cups - cooked rice
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 tsp - oil
  • 1 tsp - ghee
  • 1 tsp - mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp - groundnut
  • 1 tsp - masala powder
  • To fry and powder:
  • 8 - red chillies
  • 4 tbsp - coriander seeds
  • 3 tsp - channa dal
  • 1 tsp - fenugreek seeds

How to Make Masaledar Capsicum Rice

  • Fry all the ingredients and powder it.
  • Cut capsicum into small pieces.
  • Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard, ground nuts and capsicum fry it on a low flame.
  • After it softens, add powdered mixture and salt.
  • Add masala powder, then mix with rice.
  • Add a tsp of ghee and lime juice for added taste.
