Ingredients

  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 large potato
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 large tomato
  • 100 gm - French beans
  • 100 gm - green peas
  • 1/2 cup - macaroni
  • 1/2 cup - moong dal
  • 1/2 cup - raw peanuts
  • 3 cubes - Maggie soup cubes (veg or chicken)
  • 1 liter - water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Meal in a Soup

  • Chop the carrot, potato, onion and tomato into chunky pieces.
  • Cut French beans into 3 pieces each.
  • Put all the vegetables into a pressure cooker along with the rest of the ingredients.
  • Keep on high heat till 2 whistles. Shut off the heat.
  • This is a hearty healthy soup as it does not require oil. Serve with garlic bread.
