Ingredients

  • 1 kg - meat (beef, mutton or veal), cut into cubes
  • 3 large onions, sliced
  • 3 green chillies, chopped
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder
  • 1 tsp - garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp - oil

How to Make Meat Jalfrezie

  • Boil the meat with turmeric powder and a little salt in sufficient water till tender.
  • Drain and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, then add the cooked meat, onions, garlic paste, salt, chilli powder, pepper powder and green chillies and mix well.
  • Simmer till the onions are tender and take on the colour of the meat.
  • Stir fry till the oil leaves the sides of the pan.
