  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Kasoori methi - 1 tsp
  • Palak - 2 cups, finely chopped
  • Green chillies - 1 tsp, minced
  • Ginger - 1 tsp, minced
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Methi Palak Idlis

  • Heat oil in a small kadai.
  • Add kasoori methi, stir briefly and add rest of the ingredients.
  • Cook covered on a low heat till palak is soft.
  • Open the lid and stir on high flame to evaporate any liquid given out by palak.
  • Cool and add to idly batter.
  • Pour in greased idly moulds and steam for 15 minutes. Serve hot with chutney.
