Ingredients

  • 1 cup - cashewnuts
  • 1 cup - peanuts
  • 10 almonds
  • 5 walnuts
  • 1/2 cup - raisins (soaked for 3 hours in water)
  • 8 dried apricots, seeded (soaked for 3 hours in water)
  • 1 tbsp - honey
  • 2 tbsp - ghee
  • 1 tsp - lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp - ginger juice
  • a little milk, if required

How to Make Mewe ki usal

  • Drain all dry fruit.
  • Heat ghee. Add all the nuts and dry fruits.
  • Stir fry till coated with ghee and pink in colour, sprinkling milk if needed.
  • Add honey, lemon and ginger juice.
  • Serve hot or cold.
