Ingredients

  • Chhena from 2 litres milk
  • Brown sugar - 1 cup
  • Skimmed milk powder - 1.5 cups
  • Elaichi powder from 3/4 pods
  • Unsalted butter or ghee - 1.5 tbsp

How to Make Microwave Bengali Sandesh

  • Melt sugar in less than 1/2 cup of water in microwave.
  • Cook chhena with it on stove in medium heat until a bit dry.
  • Add ghee, stir and add skimmed milk powder slowly.
  • When it becomes sticky, take down from stove, put in the food processor with elaichi powder and knead.
  • Then take 1 tbsp of the dough and shape it.
