Ingredients

  • 1 cup - besan flour
  • 1.5 cup - yogurt diluted with water
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli, garlic and ginger paste
  • Salt to taste
  • For Tempering:
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • For garnishing: desiccated coconut
  • Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch.

How to Make Microwave Paturi (Khandvi)

  • Mix besan flour, diluted yogurt, ground masala, salt and make a smooth batter.
  • Microwave for 5-6 mins.
  • Meantime, spread butter paper on a table and spread the thick mixture into a thin layer with a wooden spatula before the mixture cools down.
  • When cool, cut into 2 inch strips and roll each strip.
  • Put the rolls in a dish.
  • Heat a little oil in a pan, splutter mustard and pour it over the rolls.
  • Garnish with desiccated coconut and fresh coriander.
