Ingredients

  • 1 chicken, 800 g - cut into 8 pieces
  • 1 cup - curd
  • 1 tbsp - mint leaves, minced or finely chopped
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 1 tbsp - cornflour mixed in 1 tbsp curd
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped - 1/2 cup)
  • 3 - green chillies
  • 1 piece - ginger
  • 1 tsp - garam masala powder
  • Garnish :
  • A few mint and coriander leaves chopped, some kasoori methi

How to Make Microwaved Dahi Chicken

  • Grind together onion, ginger and green chillies to make a paste.
  • In the microwavable dish, add 1 tbsp. of oil and onion paste. Mix well.
  • Add chicken and all other ingredients except cornflour. Mix well.
  • Micro high uncovered for 10 minutes. Stir once after 5 minutes.
  • Mix cornflour in 1 tbsp. curd. Add to chicken and mix well.
  • Micro high uncovered for 2-3 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes.
  • Sprinkle chopped mint, coriander leaves and kasoori methi
