Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat
  • 1 cup oil
  • 3 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp coriander powder
  • 2 tsp jeera powder
  • 1 tsp haldi powder
  • 1 tsp or less red chilli powder
  • 1 cup fried onion paste
  • 2 tbsp tomato puree
  • Green apple pieces - 1 tbsp
  • Dates - a handful

How to Make Minced meat with green apples and dates

  • Heat the oil and put the minced meat into the pan.
  • Saute until all the water is absorbed and the meat is dry.
  • Lower the heat and mix in the ginger-garlic paste.
  • Stir gently and mix in salt to taste.
  • Now, mix in the fried onion paste and stir-fry for 2 minutes more.
  • Add the green apple pieces, dates and the remaining oil and continue to cook on low fire.
  • Cover with a lid after adding 2-3 tbsp water and cook on low fire till the minced meat becomes tender.
  • Serve with rotis.
