Ingredients

  • 1 cup - millet flour
  • 3 tbsp - butter
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 - onion
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • Oil - to deep fry
  • Salt and water as required.

How to Make Mini millet patties

  • Finely chop the onion and keep aside.
  • Place the butter in a microwave safe bowl and microwave until it melts.
  • In a bowl mix together millet flour, melted butter, onion pieces, red chilli powder, cumin seeds and salt with a small amount of water and knead into a soft dough.
  • Make small balls and flatten each ball into the shape of a patty and keep aside.
  • Meanwhile heat the oil in a deep-bottomed pan and drop the patties and fry till it turn golden brown.
