  • 1 - medium cucumber
  • 100 g - bottle gourd
  • 2 tbsp - fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 - lemon juice extracted
  • 3 tsp - sugar
  • few pinches - fresh ground pepper
  • 400 ml - chilled water
  • 1/4 tsp - salt

How to Make Minty Cucumber-Bottle gourd Combo

  • Peel and dice bottle gourd. Sprinkle some salt, keep aside for a minute.
  • Meanwhile slice ends of cucumber, rub and discard.
  • Wash cucumber well, esp. froth at ends.
  • Chop roughly, put in an electric blender.
  • Wash salted gourd, drain, add to blender.
  • Add all other ingredients, except pepper.
  • Run mixie till mixture is smooth and frothy.
  • Pass through a non-metallic strainer.
  • Serve fresh.
