Ingredients

  • 100 g - channa dal
  • 100 g - whole urad dal
  • 1 - green chilli
  • 1 cup - mint leaves
  • 1 - onion
  • salt
  • 1 pinch - soda bicarb
  • 1 tsp - coriander cumin powder
  • 1 pinch - rock salt
  • 1 tsp - aamchur powder
  • Oil

How to Make Minty Dal Vada

  • Soak the channa dal and urad dal for 7 to 8 hours.
  • Remove from water and coarsely grind in the mixer.
  • Add spices, salt and soda bicarb.
  • Mix well.
  • Add the mint leaves, onion and green chilli.
  • Make round vadas and deep fry.
  • Serve with curd.
