Ingredients

  • 800g - fish (ghol, shark, bombil, or any fleshy fish)
  • 2 - onions
  • 4 - green chillies
  • 1 pinch - pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • 1 pinch - garam masala powder
  • A few - mint leaves
  • 4 tbsp - ghee or oil
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 cup - bread crumbs

How to Make Minty Fish Cutlets

  • Cook fish in water with a pinch of salt and turmeric powder.
  • After it's done, place it on a plate, remove the flesh, and discard the bones.
  • Grind the onions and green chillies, and add them to the fish. | Add pepper and garam masala powder.
  • Mash it to make a paste. Add chopped mint leaves and mix well.
  • Beat two eggs into a fine lather.
  • Heat ghee or oil in a flat frying pan.
  • Make cutlets of the fish paste, dip them in the beaten eggs, and roll them on the bread crumbs and fry.
