  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • 1 - onion, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 small - red bell pepper, cubed
  • 1 small - yellow bell pepper, cubed
  • 1 small - green bell pepper, cubed
  • 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • For dried fenugreek leaves:
  • In a pan add fenugreek leaves and dry roast for 3 - 5 minutes until crisp.
  • Remove from the heat and crush it into a fine powder.

How to Make Mixed Bell Pepper Subzi with Kasoori Methi

  • Heat 1 tbsp oil and add cubed onion and fry till light pink in colour.
  • Add cubed bell peppers and stir for 1 minute.
  • To this add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste.
  • Mix all the ingredients well and cook covered on low heat for 8 - 10 minutes.
  • Do not add water when cooking.
  • Sprinkle dry roasted fenugreek powder and serve.
