Ingredients

  • 10 - dates
  • 50 g - raisins
  • 1/4 cup - milk
  • 4 - ripe bananas
  • 20 - cashewnuts
  • 10 - blanched almonds
  • 1 cup - sugar
  • 1/2 cup - water
  • Milk of 1/2 a coconut
  • 1/2 tsp - saffron
  • 1/2 cup - ghee
  • 1 tbsp - rose water
  • 2 tbsp - honey

How to Make Mixed Fruit Halwa

  • Grind raisins and dates with a little milk.
  • Grind cashewnuts.
  • Mash bananas and chop some cashewnuts and almonds.
  • Make a thin syrup of sugar and water.
  • Add bananas, ground cashewnuts and coconut milk. Cook for 5 mins.
  • Add ground dates and raisins.
  • When the mix gets thick, add ghee gradually and stir.
  • Add chopped almonds and saffron soaked in rose water.
  • When the mixture leaves the sides of the pan, remove from heat.
  • Add honey and pour into a plate and decorate with chopped nuts.
