Ingredients

  • Moong dal - 1/4 cup
  • Toor dal - 1/4 cup
  • Channa dal - 1/4 cup
  • Masoor dal - 1/4 cup| Cloves - 4
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Cinnamon sticks - 1" piece
  • Onions - 2
  • Tomatoes - 1
  • Green chillies - 2
  • Ginger and garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • Mint leaves - few
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Saute:
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp

How to Make Mixed Masala Daal

  • Pressure cook all the ingredients till the dal is done.
  • In a vessel pour oil and splutter mustard and jeera and then add the cooked dal.
  • Keep on stove for about 15 minutes on medium heat.
  • Sprinkle a little chopped coriander and serve.
