Ingredients

  • 3 cups - All-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp - Active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp - Sugar
  • 1 tsp - Salt
  • 1/2 cup - Luke warm water
  • 3 tbsp - Olive oil
  • Mixed veggies and Paneer stuffing:
  • 1 cup - Potatoes (chopped)
  • 1 cup - Scrambled paneer
  • 1 cup - Mushrooms (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup - Green bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp - Garam masala powder
  • 1 - Onion (big and chopped)
  • 2 - Green chillies (chopped)
  • Salt
  • Oil

How to Make Mixed Veggies and Paneer Stuffed Buns

  • Mix the yeast, sugar and salt in Luke warm water.
  • Keep aside for 5 minutes until the yeast turns foamy.
  • Take the flour in a large vessel and add gradually the foamy yeast and olive oil.
  • Knead everything as smooth and soft dough.
  • Arrange the dough in a greased bowl. Keep in a warm place for at least two hours and let the dough double in volume.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Let the cumin seeds crackle.
  • Immediately add the chopped onions and chopped green chillies.
  • Saute until the onions turns translucent.
  • Immediately add the chopped mushrooms and chopped potatoes.
  • Saute everything for few minutes.
  • Now add the chopped green bell pepper with garam masala powder and salt.
  • Cook everything on simmer until the vegetables get well cooked. (Sprinkle water if needed)
  • Finally, add the scrambled paneer.
  • Give a quick stir and put off the stove.
  • Keep aside and let the masala get cool completely.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet over a baking tray.
  • Punch down the dough and make 10-12 medium sized balls.
  • Flatten them with a rolling pin as a small thick disc.
  • Place the already prepared masala in the dough.
  • Shape the dough as buns. Arrange the stuffed buns over the baking tray and bake in middle rack for 20-25 minutes until the crust turns golden brown.
