  • 2 cups - Mixed vegetables (pressure cooked)
  • 2 - Potatoes (pressure cooked)
  • 1/2 cup - Sago (soaked for 2 hours and strained)
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 2 - Green chillies (chopped)
  • A few curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - Garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Fennel seed powder
  • 1/4 tsp - Ginger (crushed)
  • 1/4 cup - Bread crumbs
  • Salt
  • Oil for shallow frying

How to Make Mixed Veggies and Sag degree Cutlet

  • Combine the cooked mixed vegetables, cooked potatoes, soaked sago, garam masala powder, fennel seed powder, bread crumbs in a large bowl.
  • Meanwhile, heat few drops of oil.
  • Saute the chopped onions, chopped green chillies, crushed ginger and curry leaves until the onions turns translucent.
  • Add this cooked vegetables along with the already prepared sago-mixed vegetables mixture.
  • Mix everything well along with enough salt.
  • Make small balls from this mixture and keep aside.
  • Heat the oil for shallow frying. Drop gently the already prepared patties and fry on both sides on a medium flame until the crust turns golden brown.
  • Enjoy with ketchup for evening snacks.
