Ingredients

  • 2 - Potatoes (cooked)
  • 1/2 cup - Carrot (cooked)
  • 1/2 cup - Green peas (cooked)
  • 1/2 cup - Sprouted green grams (cooked)
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 2 - Green chillies (chopped)
  • Few curry leaves
  • 1 tsp - Garam masala powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Fennel seed powder
  • 2 tbsp - Corn flour
  • 1/4 cup - Bread crumbs
  • Salt
  • Oil for shallow frying

How to Make Mixed Veggies and Sprouted Green gram Cutlets

  • Combine the cooked carrot, cooked green peas, cooked sprouted green grams, cooked potatoes, garam masala powder and fennel seed powder in a large bowl.
  • Meanwhile, heat a few drops of oil and saute the chopped onions, chopped green chillies and curry leaves until the onions turns translucent.
  • Add this cooked vegetables along with the already prepared mixed vegetables-sprouted green gram mixture.
  • Mix everything well along with enough salt.
  • Make small balls from this mixture and keep aside.
  • Make a white paste with corn flour and enough water.
  • Dip the rolled balls over the bread crumbs. Make as oval-shaped patties.
  • Heat the oil for shallow frying. Drop gently the already prepared patties.
  • Fry on both sides on a medium flame until the crust turns golden brown.
