Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - mutton chops
  • 1 cup - ground tomatoes, skin removed
  • 3 - onions, grated
  • 3 tbsp - Ghee
  • 2 - potatoes (sliced and fried)
  • 1 tsp - Garam Masala powder
  • 2 - hard boiled eggs
  • 2 tbsp - chopped coriander leaves
  • To grind:
  • 6 - red chillies
  • 8 flakes - garlic
  • 1/2 inch piece - ginger
  • 1/4 tsp - Haldi powder
  • 1 tsp - poppy seeds

How to Make Moghlai Mutton Chops

  • Heat ghee, fry onions till golden brown.
  • Fry the ground masala well. Add the chops and fry for 5 minutes.
  • Then add 1 cup hot water. Simmer till chops are cooked.
  • Add salt, tomatoes and garam masala. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Mix the peeled, sliced and fried potatoes.
  • Serve with sliced eggs on top and sprinkle with dhania leaves.
