Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Moong dal (sprouted)
  • 1 cup - Kabuli channa (sprouted)
  • 1 large - Beet
  • 1 - Large cucumber
  • 1 - Large tomato
  • 1 - Large onion
  • 1 - Small leafy green cabbage
  • 1 - Small leafy purple cabbage
  • 1 - small green pepper
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper (ground)
  • Sugar (ground)
  • Chaat masala to taste
  • Cilantro

How to Make Moong-Channa Sprout Salad

  • Pressure cook the beetroot for one whistle.
  • Peel and cut it into long pieces.
  • Cut cucumber, tomato, carrot, onion, green cabbage, purple cabbage, green pepper into long pieces.
  • Place the vegetables into the bowl, spread the moong and channa sprouts.
  • Add salt, sugar, lemon juice, ground pepper, chaat masala and toss.
  • Garnish with cilantro.
  • Serve cold.
