  • 3 cups - moong dal
  • 3 cups - sugar, ground
  • 2.5 cups - ghee
  • A little saffron and crushed dry fruits
  • 6 green cardamoms, powdered

How to Make Moong dal ladoos

  • Soak dal overnight and grind it coarsely.
  • Heat the ghee and brown the dal till golden in colour. Keep stirring.
  • Add the ground sugar to the dal. Add the crushed cardamoms and saffron dissolved in a little milk and finely crushed dry fruits. Wait till it cools.
  • Add the remaining ghee in the dal and form into ladoos.
