1 cup - Moong dal flour
1/4 cup - Gram flour
2 cups - Rice flour
1/4 tsp - Asafoetida powder
1 tbsp - Ajwain seeds

How to Make Moongdal Omapodi
Soak the ajwain seeds in a cup of warm water.
Grind as a fine paste and strain the ajwain water.
Take the moong dal flour, gram flour, rice flour, asafoetida powder and salt in a large bowl.
Gradually, add the ajwain water and knead into a soft and stiff dough.
Heat the oil for deep frying.
Meanwhile, take the murukku press and press with the omapodi nozzle.
Take enough dough in the murukku press and press directly to the hot oil.
Fry the omapodi on both sides until they turn golden brown.
Drain the excess oil with a paper towel and arrange in an air tightened box.
Enjoy with a cup of coffee or tea.
