Ingredients

  • 2 bunches - mosundori leaves (Houttuynia cordata)
  • 1/2 cup - Mosur dal (Masoor lentil)
  • 1 pinch - Paas Phooron
  • 2 tsp - garlic (crushed)
  • 2-3 - green chillies
  • 1 tbsp - lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Turmeric powder
  • Mustard oil

How to Make Mosundori Xaakor Suruha

  • Mix Mosur dal, Mosundori leaves, salt and turmeric powder together in a pressure cooker and boil in 3.5 cups water for 3 whistles.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add Paas phooron.
  • When the spluttering stops add crushed garlic and stir fry until the colour becomes reddish.
  • Add the boiled ingredients to the pan and mix well.
  • Add the green chillies and lemon juice.
  • Serve hot.
