  • Cassava - 2 to 3 large pieces
  • 1 - coconut grated
  • 1 - small onion
  • 2 to 3 - green chillies
  • Salt to taste

How to Make Muhogo

  • Peel and halve the cassava.
  • Remove its centre thread.
  • Cut pieces about 2 to 3 inches in length.
  • Wash in water and boil.
  • Add diluted coconut milk with chillies, salt, and onion.
  • Once this reduces, add thick coconut milk.
  • Cook for a few minutes till done.
