This is an apt chicken starter for weekend parties or family get-together. The marinated chicken is mixed finely with tasty ingredients - yummy cheese, eggs, cornflour, hung curd, green chillies and coriander leaves. This awesome dish mixture attains the needed consistency when thick cream is added gradually into it. 

No one can resist the most tempting aroma when it is grilled. Murg Malai tastes heavenly with mint chutney.

  • 1 kg. boneless chicken
  • 40 gms. Ginger-garlic paste
  • 20 ml. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 150 gms. Cheese, grated
  • 3 eggs
  • 40 gms.Cornflour
  • 40 gms.Hung curd
  • 20 gms.Green chillies, chopped fine
  • 25 gms.Coriander leaves, chopped fine
  • 60 ml.fresh cream

How to Make Murg Malai

  • Marinate the chicken with ginger-garlic paste, vinegar and salt.
  • Mix the grated cheese, eggs, cornflour and hung curd and add to marinated chicken.
  • Add chopped green chillies and coriander leaves. Mix well. Lastly, add cream and mix gradually.
  • Skewer the chicken pieces and cook over the charcoal grill till done.
  • They can also be cooked in a tandoor or under a hot grill. Serve with mint chutney.
