  • 350 gms - Boneless chicken
  • 100 ml - Coconut cream
  • 100 ml - Curd/yoghurt
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-3 - Green chillies
  • Coriander - I small bunch
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Murgi Malai

  • Chop chicken into small pieces.
  • Marinate with turmeric powder and salt and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  • Now heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated chicken.
  • Fry till the chicken becomes semi soft.
  • Add the green chillies to it.
  • Now add the coconut cream over the chicken.
  • Mix well.
  • Now add the yoghurt and salt to taste.
  • Let the chicken cook in the juice of the coconut cream and curd until the gravy thickens.
  • Add water to get the desired consistency.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with rice or chapatti.
