  • 1 - medium muskmelon, ripe but firm
  • 1/4 tsp - carom seeds
  • 1 tbsp - white vinegar
  • 3 to 4 - basil leaves, finely chopped
  • 1/2 - small green chilli
  • 1/2 tsp - salt
  • 1 tsp - sugar, powdered

How to Make Muskmelon Salad

  • Peel, deseed and chop the muskmelon into pieces.
  • Finely chop basil leaves, chillies and add to the melon.
  • Mix all the other ingredients, toss well and chill.
  • Serve chilled, as an anytime filler.
