Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg mutton
  • 2 onions (finely chopped)
  • 5 to 7 green chillies (finely chopped)
  • 1 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  • A few chopped mint leaves
  • Finely chopped coriander leaves (for garnishing)
  • 3 to 4 tbsps refined oil
  • salt to taste

How to Make Mutton Chops

  • Clean and wash the mutton pieces
  • Pressure cook the mutton with chopped onions, green chillies, pepper powder sufficient water and salt for ten minutes
  • Add water accordingly because the onions give off lot of water
  • Heat oil in an iron kadai, add chopped mint leaves and saute for few seconds
  • Add the whole mutton mixture into it and slowly keep stirring till the mutton is well coated with the masala
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
