  • 1/2 kg - mutton, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 kg - red tomatoes
  • 1.5 tbsp - butter
  • 1.5 tsp - sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • For grinding:
  • 2 medium onions
  • 4 green chillies
  • 2.5 cm ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic

How to Make Mutton in tomato sauce

  • Mix 1 tbsp - flour, salt and pepper to a paste.
  • Apply this to the mutton pieces and cook in hot oil. Remove from oil.
  • Boil the tomatoes, remove the skin and mash them well.
  • Heat the butter, add the flour, stir, then add the ground masalas.
  • Cook for a few minutes and add the mashed tomatoes.
  • Add the sugar and salt and cook till sauce is thick and creamy.
  • Add the meat pieces and simmer. Serve hot.
