Ingredients

  • Mutton - 1 kg
  • For grinding:
  • 4 - chillies
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 1 piece - turmeric
  • 3 - chillies
  • 2 - onions
  • 1 piece - ginger
  • 6 flakes - garlic
  • Other ingredients:
  • 3 tbsp - ghee
  • 1/2 - onion
  • 6 - cloves
  • 1 piece - cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp - vinegar to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • A few - coriander leaves

How to Make Mutton with Indad Meat Masala

  • Cut meat into bite size pieces and wash thoroughly.
  • Grind all the masalas listed.
  • Boil the meat in a pressure cooker with cloves, cinnamon and salt, till done.
  • Remove the meat from the gravy.
  • Heat ghee in a vessel and fry the meat till it turns brown and keep aside
  • In the same ghee, fry the ground masala, stirring continuously.
  • Sprinkle a little water, add fried meat with its gravy into the masala and stir.
  • Add sugar, salt and vinegar to taste.
  • Serve garnished with coriander leaves.
