  • 2 cups - Basmati rice (soaked for 10 minutes)
  • 1 cup - frozen green peas
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 3 - green chillies (slit opened)
  • 1 cup - yoghurt
  • 1/2 tsp - garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required

How to Make MW Peas and Yogurt Pulao

  • Heat oil and cumin seeds in a microwave safe bowl for 2 minutes.
  • Add frozen peas, green chillies, garam masala powder and salt. Cook everything for 5 minutes (stir in between).
  • Add soaked rice with yoghurt and 2 cups of water. Cook for 20-25 minutes (stir twice or thrice in between) until the rice is well cooked. Serve with raita or kurma.
