Ingredients

  • Maida - 1/2 cup
  • Ground channa dal - 1/2 cup
  • Onion, chopped fine - 1
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves
  • Oil to fry
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup - white til

How to Make Nipattu

  • Mix maida, channa dal, white til, chopped onion, hot oil, red chilli powder and salt.
  • Mix and shape into round balls and flatten with the palm of your hands.
  • Heat oil in and deep-fry.
  • Serve hot.
