Ingredients

  • 3 tsp - oats
  • 1 - Red chilli
  • 1 - Green chilli
  • 1/2 inch - Ginger, grated
  • Curry leaves - 5 -6
  • Coriander leaves - a few
  • 1 tsp - Oil
  • 100ml -Butter milk
  • Salt to taste
  • 200 ml Water
  • 1/2 tsp - Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp - Urad dal
  • A pinch of Asafoetida

How to Make Oats masaledar

  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and allow to splutter.
  • Add urad dal, red chilli and asafoetida.
  • Add ginger, green chilli and chopped curry leaves too.
  • Now add the oats and the water.
  • Add salt, and cook till the oats are tender.
  • Take off the gas, allow to cool and add the butter milk.
