Ingredients

  • 2 - big onions, or small onions of an equal quantity
  • 2 - tomato
  • 2 cups - thick buttermilk
  • 4 - green chillies
  • 1 cup - grated coconut
  • Chilli may be increased according to the sore of the butter milk
  • Turmeric powder
  • Salt
  • Kadukku
  • Fenugreek
  • 1 - red chilli
  • Curry leaves for thalikkal

How to Make Onion And Tomato Mor Kuzhambu

  • Take a kadai and pour some water.
  • Add turmeric powder, salt, pieces of tomatoes and onions cook well.
  • Add the butter milk, take precaution not to boil. Grind the coconut, green chillies and add it with the butter milk mixture.
  • Heat through and remove from the stove.
  • Pour one tsp oil, add kadukku, fenugreek, red chilli pieces and curry leaves. Add it in the mor kuzhambu.
  • If needed, add one tsp sugar or jaggery.
  • It can be served with rice, chapattis or with idli or dosas.
