Ingredients

  • 2 large onions
  • 3 green or red chillies
  • 5 flakes garlic
  • 1-inch piece ginger, chopped coarsely
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt

How to Make Onion Masala Paste

  • Fry onions in hot oil till tender. Add all other ingredients and stir for 2 minutes.
  • Cool and grind to a thick paste.
  • Store in refrigerator or freeze in plastic freezerware.
