Ingredients

  • 1 cup - channa dhal
  • 1 cup - finely chopped onions
  • Green chillies to your taste
  • A handful of chopped coriander leaves
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp - hing
  • 1 tbsp - ginger and garlic finely minced

How to Make Onion Masala Vada

  • Soak channa dal exactly for 1 hour and drain it. Grind it without adding water. The mixture should be coarse.
  • Add rest of the ingredients and mix well.
  • Make small balls and flatten them.
  • Heat oil and deep-fry the balls.
