Ingredients

  • 2 - eggs
  • 2 oz - butter
  • 1 oz - flour
  • 1/4 cup - milk
  • 1/4 cup - grated cheese
  • 2 - whole skins of oranges
  • Salad oil
  • Pepper and salt to taste

How to Make Orange Cheese Souffle

  • Melt butter.
  • Add flour to butter and mix until smooth.
  • Add milk and cook gently until thick.
  • Stir in the grated cheese and salt.
  • Separate whites and yolks of eggs
  • Beat yolks well and add to the cheese mixture.
  • Whip up whites of eggs and fold into the mixture.
  • Rub orange shells with salad oil.
  • Fill orange shells with the mixture and bake in a hot oven for 40 minutes or until set and brown.
