  • 1/2 cup - Orange juice
  • 1/3 cup - Lime juice
  • 1/3 cup - butter/oil
  • 2 tbsp - Honey
  • 2 cloves - garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp - Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp - Salt
  • 1/2 tsp - Tandoori chicken masala
  • 1 lb - Boneless chicken

How to Make Orange Chicken

  • In a large bowl, combine orange, lime juices, butter, honey, garlic, pepper and chicken masala.
  • Add chicken pieces and let stand in the fridge at least 2 hrs or preferably overnight.
  • Prepare grill for medium heat, placing rack about four inches from coals.
  • Remove chicken from marinade.
  • Sprinkle salt on both sides of chicken.
  • Grill for about 15 mins.
  • Toss the chicken pieces in the marinade again.
  • Make sure all the pieces are wet again. Discard rest of the liquid, if any.
  • Put the chicken back on the grill.
  • Grill until golden brown.
  • Serve hot with green chutney or cheese dip.
