  • 3 - oranges
  • 1/2 cup - pomegranate
  • 3 - strawberries
  • 2 tbsp - vanilla ice cream
  • Sugar or honey as required for sweetening
  • 1 cup - crushed ice

How to Make Orange Sunrise Refresher

  • Peel segments of one orange, discarding all seeds. Extract juice from remaining oranges.
  • Put pomegranate seeds, two strawberries and orange juice together.
  • Add sweetener.
  • Run hand mixer in short spurts so that pomegranate seeds do not get crushed.
  • When smooth, add vanilla ice cream and 1 cup crushed ice.
  • Whip till smooth and frothy.
  • Slice remaining strawberry and put with broken orange segments in 2 large glasses.
  • Pour drink to top both glasses, adding more crushed ice if desired.
  • Serve chilled and fresh.
