Ingredients

  • 4 cups - prawns, peeled
  • 8 - cloves garlic, slices
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 cup - water
  • 1 tbsp - sugar
  • 4 - onions
  • 6 - tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • 6 - Bay leaves
  • 2 tbsp - olives, chopped
  • 1 tbsp - pepper
  • 4 tbsp - butter
  • 4 tbsp - salad oil
  • 1 tsp - Salt

How to Make Pakistani Prawns

  • Chop onions and garlic and saute in a mixture of oil and butter until golden brown.
  • Add tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add cleaned prawns, salt, pepper, chilli powder, sugar and 1/2 cup of water.
  • Cook till the prawns are pink.
  • Add the bay leaves and olives.
  • Serve hot.
