Ingredients

  • 1 kg-mutton
  • For marinating paste:
  • 2 tsp - cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp - dry coriander
  • 1 tbsp - ginger paste
  • 6 - cloves
  • 8 flakes - garlic
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 6 - small cardamom
  • 1/2 inch stick - cinnamon
  • 1/2 tbsp - nutmeg powder
  • 1 no - hing (small)
  • 1 tsp - turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp - salt

How to Make Pakku (Mutton curry)

  • Marinate mutton pieces with the paste, add salt and turmeric powder and keep for 20 mins.
  • Fry in edible oil and cook for an hour in low heat. Serve hot with cooked rice or selroti.
