Ingredients

  • 1 kg - chicken
  • 4 cups - palak, chopped
  • 2 - onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • 1.5 tsp - ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - dhaniya powder
  • 1 tsp - jeera powder
  • 2 tsp - tamarind pulp
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric

How to Make Palak Chicken

  • Wash chicken pieces and marinate with salt, chilli powder, dhaniya powder, turmeric and ginger garlic paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion and fry light brown in colour.
  • Then add the chicken pieces and fry for 2 mins.
  • Add palak to the chicken and mix well.
  • Add tamarind pulp, then add a 1/2 cup water mix well and let it cook till done.
  • Serve with rice or roti.
