Ingredients

  • 1 bunch - Palak (cleaned and chopped fine))
  • 1 cup - Carrots (sliced in rounds)
  • 1 cup - Peas
  • 1 ) - Onion (optional - chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp each - Jeera and Saunf (fennel seed)
  • 1 tsp - Pav bhaji masala or Garam masala
  • 2 tbsp - Oil
  • Salt as per taste

How to Make Palak Curry

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera and saunf. Fry it.
  • Add onions and fry it for sometime. Then add palak, carrots and peas.
  • Cover it with a lid and let the vegetables cook.
  • Once they are done, if there is still water remaining, fry the vegetables for sometime till the oil starts leaving the sides.
  • Now add salt and the masala and stir it for some time and your yummy curry is ready to serve.
  • Serve hot with chapatti or rice.
