Ingredients

  • 2 cups - boiled rice
  • 1/4 cup - urad dal
  • 2 cups - palak
  • 4 - finely chopped green chilli
  • ginger, a little
  • salt to taste

How to Make Palak Idli

  • Soak rice and urad dal separately for 5 hours.
  • First grind urad dal, then add the rice. At the very end, add chillies, ginger and salt.
  • Keep aside for 8 hours.
  • Before steaming the idlis, add finely chopped palak and steam.
