  • 1 cup - Besan flour
  • 1/4 cup - Rice four
  • 2 - Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup - Onion (chopped)
  • 1 cup - Frozen Spinach (thawed)
  • 1pinch Asafoetida powder
  • 2 tbsp - Hot Oil
  • 1 tsp - Kasuri Methi
  • 5 - Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Oil for Deep Frying

How to Make Palak Onion Pakodas

  • Heat oil for deep-frying.
  • Meanwhile, mix besan flour, rice flour, chopped onion, green chilli, spinach, asafoetida powder, kasuri methi, curry leaves and salt with a little hot oil. Knead into a thick paste.
  • Take a handful of the thick paste and drop gently into the oil and fry till it turns golden brown. Fry them in small batches. Drain the excess oil with paper towel.
  • Serve hot.
