Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg - paneer
  • 1 packet - frozen spinach
  • 1 bunch - fresh palak
  • 1 - onion
  • 2 - green chillies
  • 1/4 piece - ginger
  • 2 pod - garlic
  • 2 tbsp - oil
  • little turmeric
  • 1 tbsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • pinch - jeera
  • 1 - large tomato

How to Make Palak Paneer with Onion

  • Cut paneer into cubes and grill them in the oven or fry them in oil. Keep aside.
  • Wash and clean spinach if fresh. Puree them in a blender.
  • Fry oil in a wok or kadai. Add the jeera, then add cut onions, ginger, garlic and green chillies. Fry these.
  • Add cut tomatoes and saute well. Add the coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder and mix well.
  • Add the puree palak. Keep on sauteing them till you see oil come out of the mixture.
  • Add the paneer pieces and garam masala.
  • Serve this with rotis or bread.
